Mtu na Mti… Mti na Mtu!
A Person and a Tree… A Tree and a Person
Central to this year's Earth Day festivities was a profound commitment to reforestation, symbolized by the collective endeavor to plant 140 trees across the landscape at AKOS. Led by AKOS School students, CUSO Volunteers, and educators from the municipal council alike converged with a shared purpose: to cultivate a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
The partnership between AKOS School, CUSO, local authorities, and Mr. Manjerengahe exemplified the transformative potential of collaborative initiatives. With invaluable support from The President Office, Regional Administration and Local Government Ministry, Earth Day transcended mere celebration, evolving into a catalyst for tangible, lasting change.
